Pastoral Care

Members of our St. Paul’s family show their concern for each other by making phone calls, visiting the house-bound, contributing food, driving others to appointments, running errands or doing light chores. Much of our awareness of the challenges members face is learned through pre-service announcements concerning individuals experiencing poor health, anticipating surgeries, sustaining injuries, or grieving.

Our Prayer Bear’s have become an important part of our ministry, reaching friends and family near and far, even outside the State of Maine. On occasion we receive word of how our prayers have lifted spirits and aided in the healing process.

At some point, we would like to resume Eucharistic Visitations. Those who once took on that ministry have either moved away or are now deceased.
